We specialise in treatment of trauma of the lower limb (including hip, knee and foot trauma) as well as trauma of the pelvis and upper limb (including hand, elbow and shoulder trauma).
Trauma orthopedics does not only involve treatment of broken bones (fractures) and the old comical image of the patient with all four limbs in plaster casts, languishing in traction in a hospital bed could not be further from the reality of modern trauma orthopedics. Our practice deals extensively with ligament-, tendon- as well as muscle injuries in patients of all ages and walks of life, including performance athletes as well as children and senior citizens. And we aim to return all our patients to their previous functional status as soon as possible.
